Happy New Year

Welcome back to dance and Happy New Year! Classes commence Monday January 4th.
Many thanks to those generous folks who assisted Steps Ahead in donating $122.18 to the Mill Bay Food Bank this festive season. They were so grateful for your donations!
The remainder of the dance jackets will be at the studio for you to collect at your next class.
Some students who have been entered for Dance Works festival have not yet paid the $12.25 entry fee. Please bring this to your first lesson.
If you have not returned your RAD Ballet entry form (Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate Ballet only) and plan on entering for this exam, call Lorraine today! (250) 7010203. Entry fees and forms must be handed in this week!
Finally, Lorraine will be away in the UK from Jan 4th – 12th. Therefore email will not be received during this period – please call Dulcie (250) 701 0203 with any questions, information etc.

Wrapping up 2009

CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS: Steps Ahead is closed after classes on Dec 12th. We wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.

Classes resume on Monday Jan 4th.

DANCE JACKETS: We are anticipating the arrival of completed jackets sometime next week. I realize your jacket may be a Christmas gift, and will therefore make them available for pick up once delivery is confirmed. Apologies for the delay in this order.

HST ALERT: The Prime Minister of Canada and the Premier of British Columbia have announced a new sales tax structure called HST.

At this time it appears that an additional tax will be imposed on dance instruction provided to children.

All payments to Steps Ahead, including post-dated cheques, would have to increase at the time the tax is imposed. Expected effective date is July 1, 2010
